I composed a FusionPro job to a pdf (I know it's inefficient, but
it's easy to reprint one page from a pdf when we get a jam.)

I tried to print the pdf on our KMC500 (Creo RIP). Although
everything in the file is black (shows up on the black separation
only, in Acrobat 7's preview function), the C500 is printing the
variable data as black, and the fixed data as about a 90% tint of
black.

Anybody got a quick fix for this?

TIA,
Steve
