- Involuntarily:
Since the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, an increasing number
of people is being forced to "simple living" simply because they can't
afford any other living.
- Voluntarily:
Some folks are simply tired of mindless consumerism, the rat race and all
the consequences, so they try to get back to real values. (Motto: "The
best things in life aren't things.")
