On the day that American officials have poo-pooed the UN report which says that the Al Qaeda network is alive and well, we also learn that Swedish police have arrested a man attempting to aboard a plane with a gun in his toilet bag. He was on his way to attend a Muslim conference in England. "We believe he was going to hijack the plane," a police spokesman said.
