Hi Keith,
Isn't the history of science full of examples of the impossible becoming possible? Just this morning, Bob Johnson, who does a history clip each day on CBC radio, was describing the attitude of many scientists who laughed at 'fools' who thought that heavier than air objects might be capable of sustained flight someday. I'm sure Stephen Straker could come up with a few hundred more examples.

Take care,
Brian
