It's an interesting essay.  The paragraph that particularly caught my
attention was the following:

    "War provides the necessary medium in which this witches brew of oil,
    eugenics, pharmaceuticals, munitions and Wall Street investing can reach
    maximum growth. Likewise, war is also the essential frame of reference
for
    the newly formed GW Bush administration."

Well, perhaps...   The continued pressure by Bush for war on Iraq despite no
evidence (yet) of WMD gives Mr. Lederman's piece some credence.  Yet in
looking at web material on Mr. Lederman, one has to conclude that he has
axes to grind.  He also appears to be very prolific as an activist, artist
and writer.  When does he have time to do the kind of research that his
assertions would seem to warrant?  And if he did have time to do the
research, could he actually make the kinds of conspiratorial connections
that his assertions suggest?
