I remember when the officers used to
say "Its not much of a war but its all we've got" talking about Vietnam of
course where there were almost as many casualties as in the first world
war. When you subtract the deaths from the flu in WW I you have
about 10,000 more deaths than in Vietnam. Makes you
think.

All evening different channels have been telling us that the Americans
are considering using "unconventional weapons" if the Iraqis don't give up
post haste. Probably surgical weapons of non-mass destruction that will kill
only one or two or three Iraqis. That's not much.
What a wonderful war!
