I've seen several Rumsfeld Press Conferences and he handles them well.
His sense of humor comes through well, he seems candid, and the press like him.
Well, the top brass are a bit less eager to join the coalition of the willing -- surely not always for the most noble of reasons even though they\ may rationalize their feelings like he rationalizes his. And the Washington Post came out with a story yesterday or today which confirms that we did not do enough prep work for the war in Iraq.
The Generals are wussies -- got that?
Rumsfeld finds civil liberties amusing.

At least "Rummy" has a sense of humor, as examplified by the laughter he elicited from the press when he responded to a question what he thought Osama bin Laden's status was these days: Rumsfeld reasponded:
I think he is either alive or dead.
"(laughter)" follows in the official Pentagon transcript -- with some "chuckling" by Rumsfeld a few words later.
