The very same thought occurred to me the other day! Not that Cheney can possibly be as stupid as Bush -- but certainly that I realised that I've much over-rated him in my mind. And I think Rumsfled is not all that bright either. The really smart ones are Perle and Wolfowitz but then I think their motives are not so parochial as Bush and Cheney's.
