I want to add a form with information about support and feedback. It will use buttons that use a browser. The default browser on linux is a mess. It is the $BROWSER variable, kde and gnome are following other ways to provide it, and xdg-settings is broken in many ways, and doesn't work at all with Crystal anyway.
I can see 2 solutions: 1) Check for $BROWSER and set it if it doesn't exist. 2) Use another variable. This setting will be used only in that form, and maybe also into the About dialog. My feeling is to use $BROWSER, but want to be sure. What do you think is best?
