Are there tricky things > I might miss in this area? Yes, it's not the whole story -- it's not enough to react to the ConfigureNotify events. Just let FVWM react to XRandr proper; see above. I ought to resurrect my patches to do this, it was very easy and worked for me at the time. -- Thomas Adam
