Hm, is it actually a good idea to remove half the modules and
GNOME hints support in the last stable fvwm2 release?  Could the
commits be rearranged so that this stuff stays in 2.6.7 and is
removed immediately after that?

Or maybe start the long term stable branch at 2.6.6 and
cherry-pick only the patches that add something from master.
