It looks even more funny with xeyes -- two elliptical areas act as "title". (In fact, I discovered this WindowShade behaviour when playing with AnotherLevel (yes, it still works with 2.4, fine!), which has "Style xeyes NoTitle,NoHandles...".) Addition 1: in case of "Style * WindowShadeSteps N" with N>1 this effect disappears and window shades to a 2-pixel-tall horizontal thingie. Addition 2: when some window ("A") overlaps with only such "title phantom" ("P"), the RaiseLower only lowers "A" but not raises, as if "P" doesn't exist at all.
