Before I succeded to compile everything I checked carefully all libraries and that the kernel source with links were intsalled. You seem to be missing GDK libs and certain Gnome libs. And also Freetype2, check at their site for info. After a few tips from this list it worked. Even on a Mac (LinuxPPC)! Thanks all!
