This way we can update the script when the building instructions change. Of course it should then run in a sandbox so we can't ruin the machine it's running on. One other thing: when we make releases, the web site may be updated several hours before or after the tarball is available. Is there a way to synchronize this? Perhaps the web site should not be updated while a tarball is in the incoming directory of the ftp server.
