Where do you invoke the gnome-panel though? I have now upgrade fvwm to version 2.5.5. My .xsession has gnome-panel defined but it does not appear on startup. I have to manually start it up on command line. Is gnome-panel invoked from the .fvwm2rc or from .xsession?
