You may take a look at how this is done in wm-icons package. It comes with many icon sets and wm-icons-config script that manipulates symlinks, like ~/.wm-icons/mini, ~/.wm-icons/norm, ~/.wm-icons/menu. All icons names are mini/terminal.xpm, norm/terminal.xpm or menu/terminal.xpm depending on where the icon should appear. Another way is just to prepend another path into ImagePath, like: ImagePath $HOME/my-nice-icons:+ and continue to use your existing config (just create all used icons and place them in ~/my-nice-icons/ directory). If you want to use png icons, but your config lists xpm names that you don't want to change, do: ImagePath $HOME/my-nice-icons;png:+ Regards, Mikhael. -- Visit the official FVWM web page at <URL: http://www.fvwm.org/>.
