Yes, some formatting has been lost in transmission. In reality, even
if I keep the WindowList menu definition to this:
MenuStyle WindowList AutomaticHotkeysOff
...and restart FVWM, it doesn't change anything. I still get these
annoying numbers next to every window in the WindowList menu:

I'm asking because AutomaticHotkeysOff/AutomaticHotkeys works fine
with any other menu, except WindowList. With WindowList it seems to
not have any effect.
The window list is not using automatic hotkeys, but add them itself unless
the option NoHotkeys is given to the WindowList command.
