Hi Jamie, I feel rather sheepish now. I recall Thomas Adam telling me the same thing on this list, that FVWM + numlock do not play well together, something like 10 or so years ago. As soon as I read your message, I knew that was going to be the answer, and sure enough, it seems to be solved.
