John,

If the two non-public interfaces have routable addresses you don't
need any NAT ... you don't need to turn it off, NAT is there and
will be used if something needs to be NAT'ted ... otherwise it lives
 in silence.

Met vriendelijke groeten - Bien vous - Kind regards

Subject: [FW-1] No NAT query

I have a scenario whereby a customer currently has a packet filter firewall
with three interfaces. The public facing interface only has one IP address,
the other two interfaces have legal public networks.

I have got to replace the packet filter with a Nokia running NG FP3. The
devices on the LAN and DMZ need to be accessed from the internet. What
routing entries (if any) will I need to make? Can I just turn NAT off?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks
