It looks like I have some users for whom the state on their RPC-mapped connection is timing out. That is, I see the initial request to the portmapper followed by the accepted connection on a "random" TCP port. However, some time later, I see packets from the same source to the same destination on the same port fail. The time to failure is less than the TCP timeout. I'm wondering if there are other timeouts associated with RPC.
In the file, table.def, I found #define RPC_SESSION_TIMEOUT 42 But if that's 42 seconds, it seems awfully short. Can anyone provide more detail on how RPC is tracked in FW-1?
