We are setting up a script to backup our NG firewall. Once we run "fw
stop" to take the firewall off-line we can backup the server without
having to worry about any open files. The problem is with the firewall
stopped, the NICs accept all traffic. I'd like to add a line to the
script to disable the NICs right after we run the "fw stop". It's a
Windows 2000 server and so far google is giving me nothing of use unless
you are running Linux. Does anyone know of a script (batch file
friendly preferred) that would disable the NICs?

Thanks,

Paul Orr
