Hi you,

in your case I think the manuals are your best bet! They are available in
.pdf format on the install CD or in printed form. You do not even need all
the Volumes. Basivally all you need is in the FireWall-1 Guide (was yellow
and is now blue; --comes with every update CD) p.

Betreff: [FW-1] client authentication setup

Hi,

I am new to Firewall-1, my office just purchased Checkpoint NG FP3, we are
switching over from Symantec Raptor Firewall. I am having problems finding
step-by-step instructions on how to configure the firewall. I purchased a
book from the bookstore, but it just doesn't have the detail I need for some
of the setup. Where could I go to find step-by-step instructions on setting
up Client Authentication using a Radius server to authenticate the users?

( I have decided to use client auth instead of user auth because the users
need to be able to access a non-standard port on the server and also have
access to https - is client authentication the way to go?)

I have tried using the .pdf files that came on the install CD and they just
are cutting it.

Thanks for any help,
Wendi
