Wen,

have you added the VIP (manually) to the Interfaces of the FW-network object
in the topology window? I would do this manually since auto discovery ("Get
Topology") does not always work with VIPs.

Betreff: [FW-1] Virtual IP problem in NG FP2

Hi Gurus,
I have FW-1 NG FP2 on a Solaris8 and have a strange problem.
After the Solaris is booted and the FW starts up, I add a virtual IP
on a interface by #ifconfig qfe0 addif 192.168.1.10 up, and ping
the virtual IP from 192.168.1.x is OK. Then #cpstop and #cpstart,
consequently, I could not ping to the virtual IP any more.
Who has the same experience with me? and how to keep the
virtual IP available even after #cpstop and #cpstart?
BTW, I installed VPN/FireWall Enforcement Module in the
Solaris8 and management server in a Windows2000.
Any information and hints is highly appreciated.
