Please make sure you check out the upgrade verifier utilities for AU, as well as the upgrade_export and upgrade_import scripts. Youll find that this will greatly simplify upgrading to new versions, backing up management, and recreating your firewall on new hardware. These scripts should eliminate most complexities when attempting the above mentioned actions. This script will also move between platforms Nokia to SPLAT, Windows to Nokia, Solaris to Windows, etc...
