Thanks a lot for help,
I find archive e-mail (30 Dec 2002), but I can`t find solution.
This is quotation:
"We encountered a curious problem on a FW-1/VPN-1/FG-1 FP3 firewall.
After a fresh install of FP3 on Linux Redhat 7.3 all worked fine.
After some days, the GUI could no more connect to the management
server.
The error message was "Connection cannot be initiated. Make sure that
the Server "XX.XX.XX.XX" is up and running."
The workstations was registered with cpconfig to connect to the
management server.
Watching the log with command line, I see that the request from the GUI
is accepted but the error message is the same.
When I try a telnet on the port CPMI (18190) from the GUI workstation,
the connection is established."
All are same as my firewall. OS is Linux RH 7.2, FW-1/VPN-1 FP3 HF2.
I can reinstall my FW-1/VPN-1 of course, but I don't think so solve problem.
Regards,
Przemek K.
