Mike,
The checkpoint snmpd is listening on udp 260, while you're querying port 16, the 
default snmpd port. If you want to query for non-checkpoint stuff you must have 
another snmpd installed and this one will have it's own set of config files.

Also, the checkpoint snmpd is not a trap receiver. You can only query it for values.

Hi List! i�ve a problem with the MRTG. In the FW-1
(linux) the cpsnmpd is running, i edited the file
(/opt/CPfw1-50-03/conf/snmp.C) and setup the community
like this:

        :snmp_community (
                :read ("passwd")
                :write ()

also, i�m allow all the traps from my mrtg server to
the fw-1 with a rule. And when i run the cfgmaker, i
get this msg�s errors:
