Windows NT/2000 ============ 1. Add to the registry a new string value of 'FWLOGDIR' under one of the following registry locations:
FireWall-1 4.1:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CheckPoint\FW1\4.1
FireWall-1 NG:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CheckPoint\FW1\5.0
2. Specify the full path name to the new log directory in the value data field. Note: The target path directory must exist prior to modifying the registry.
3. Reboot the server.
NOTE: Make sure ANTI-VIRUS software is disabled
UNIX ==== 1. On UNIX machines, you can symbolically link the '$FWDIR/log' directory to another drive. Example:
fwstop mv $FWDIR/log $FWDIR/log.old ln -s /path/to/new/logdir $FWDIR/log fwstart WARNING: It's strongly not recommended to put the log directory on a remote file system. Doing so can result in unpredicted corruptions in active log files (fw.log, fw.adtlog)

Now I am upgrading the firewall, and want to do the same with my NG firewall. I have searched "everywhere" without finding a solution.
My system disk is not big enough to take all the logs too...
This is quite urgent.....
