I have successfully used the Dual and Quad port cards on Secure Platform in a lab installation, and successfully used the Dual port 1000 in production on a non Secure Platform (normal Redhat 7.2 install) without any issues. I don't remember the specific version of the driver I used, but it was not the one that comes with RedHat 7.2/7.3 (Default e1000.o module causes the NIC's to lockup).
