I have a situation where when I tried to ftp to 216.70.10.66 ftp server from a Nokia firewall running NG FP2, I don't even get a user name prompt instead i get the following and it hangs. I have to close the session to exit out.
ftp 216.70.10.66 Connected to 216.70.10.66.
I can ftp to the same server if I user a Solaris OS. There are few other similar sites that I have not been able to connect once I migrated to Nokia. I have modified the base.def file but I still cannot connect to the ftp server. Tcpdump shows connection being made to the server but the server is not replying back. The nokia firewall is running on 3.5 FCS10.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
