Hi, one of my customers just complained that he has to turn of the Windows XP Firewall if he wants to use SecureClient from his personal PC. I'm not familiar with XP details, but in the SecureKnowledge database I found entry sk15834, which also tells to turn off the XP Firewall.
When the customer turned off the XP Firewall, he was hit by a virus in less than 2 minutes. Is it possible to run the SecureClient and the XP Firewall at the same time (i.e. using SecureClient without making the client vulnerable)? regards Hadmut ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
