Has any created a rule to block known spam IP address, (smtp) instead of using the SMTP Security Server (have never tried this) I did a few to test, but realized the amount of work to create a network resource for each ip address. Is there a way to point the rule to a list of IP address, such as a text file? I have created a rule (10) to drop any smtp from known spam IP addresses. I don't like some of the email based options (Exchange 5.5). <<...OLE_Obj...>>
Created a group "blacklist" and added resources, I know there is a limit to a group, is this going to stress the FW Windows nt 4.0 FW 4.1 <<...OLE_Obj...>> > Doug Gray > DRS Flight Safety and Communications > DRS Communications and Surveillance Systems > DRS Advanced Manufacturing > Network Architect > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > off: 613-591-5883 > cell: 613-220-8223 > fax: 613-591-5801 > http://www.drs.com > > > ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
