Hi,

you can try cpstop, cpstart from the management station.
this will rerun the management and shut down all client
connections.

Subject: [FW-1] Unable to connect Policy Editor in read/write mode

Hi All,

I have NG FP2 solaris 2.8. The Policy Editor GUI client is not
connecting to the Management server in read/write mode. But Status
manager & log viewer are connecting in read/write mode. If I try policy
editor the message "Another GUI client is already connected to the
Management server" message is comming.

I checked for manage.lock file in $FWDIR/log and could not find one. I
had tried to reboot the machine without any improvement. Anyone has a
suggestion to solve this problem.

Thanks,
Ramakrishnan
