The reason for that behavior is the "worm catcher" field in the SmartDefense (the update process added patterns to the SmartDefense which exceeded the maximum number the firewall can handle). In order to solve the problem apply hotfix 1 and above. In order to bypass the problem, you can uncheck the "worm catcher" field inside the SmartDefense (I think you can leave some of the patterns, but that you will have to find yourself). Regards,
