Sounds like an ARP issue on the 192.168.1.0 net -----Original Message----- From: Covington, Chris [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, November 11, 2003 9:27 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [FW-1] adding routes with secureplatform ai
Correction... It seems after applying sk10254, the machines on 192.168.10.0 can ping the machines on 192.168.1.0. However, the machines on 192.168.1.0 can't ping the the machines on 192.168.10.0 UNLESS they've been pinged first by a machine on 192.168.10.0, then they can. The routing is OK on 192.168.1.0 (I've tried it with both manual routes and the Cisco router on 192.168.1.1). Very strange. That got my hopes up, but it seems that didn't fix the problem either. :< I've also made sure it's not a NAT problem by creating original, original NAT rules between the PPTP networks. I guess I'll get very familiar with the old route command on every client! It DOES work, at least in SPLAT AI-R54 For FP3, I don't remember if it worked straight with HF2, or if some additional HFA3xx was needed...
