hi,

i'm pretty sure that your servers are manually static nated. cluster xl
does not notice this servers and therefore it will not send the arp-updates.
this is true for cluster-xl ha new mode.
try to change the natting from manual to automatic and the arps will be
updated.
otherwise add routes on the routers for the static natted ip's:

add "static nat ip" gw "virtual ip fw"

Subject: [FW-1] clusterXl & nat & mac

Hi!

I've seen a problem with my CP NG FP3 cluster using Cluster XL. I use high
availability to avoid multicast mac issues. But when a switch over occurrs,
mac associated with nated servers does not change to the new real mac of the
active node. They remain with the now offline node mac. I have to reinstall
the policy in order to have the mac changed.

anyone knows how to get mac changed without policy reinstall?

regards.
