Hi all, I'm testing a firewall cluster on SecurePlatform with ClusterXL and using "High Availability, New Mode" (IP address take-over). I have tried different OS on the LAN including Windows Server, Solaris, AIX, Cisco IOS, Extremeware and they act correctly to the gratuitous arps; updating there arp table.
However, when I use Debian GNU/Linux (woody) I have problem. It won't update its arp table when the SecurePlatform cluster sends its gratuitous arp. Anyone knows how to configure Debian GNU/Linux to "listen" to gratuitous arps? Sorry for slightly OT, but Debian listserver is down. Please include my email in your reply (I subscribe to the Digest version).
