Copy the entire existing rulebase to the clipboard and then create a brand
new policy and select for the Floodgate tab to be displayed. Then paste in
the old rulebase.

Subject: [FW-1] Floodgate unavailabe after upgrade_import??
Date: Wed, 26 Nov 2003 17:46:50 +0100

Hi!

I have the Situation here that Floodgate is not available after i upgrade
my Managementserver.
I upgraded the config of a 4.1 SP5 Managementserver (without Floodgate)
with upgrade_export/import to NG FP3 and want to implement Floodgate with
the new Version.

After the installation of the Clean NG FP3, the Tabs for the Rulebase of
QoS(FG) and VPN-Manager are there, but after the upgrade_import these 2 are
not longer available in the GUI.
During the Import-Process of the Configuration had been some error messages
complaining about Floodgate. But i didn't worry about this, as Floodgate
was not installed before.

But even when i reinstall Floodgate afterwards i cannot get it working or
showing the Rulebase for QoS.

Can anyone explain me this please? Or give some hints?

Thanks, Regards
Thomas Kunz
