Dear all,
I would like to ask a question about CPU usage on SMP system +
CheckPoint NG-AI.
Our site has a NG-AI module which runs on a Windows 2000 server with 4
processors. I have
followed the performance tuning guide to set the interrupts from different
NICs to different CPUs
as follows:
Interface A -- CPU 0 and 1.
Interface B -- CPU 2 and 3.
Originally, I think that interface A will spread the loading among CPU 0
and 1 evenly (similar for
interface B). However, the statistics show that CPU 1 and 3 are nearly
unused at all.
Is it possible to evenly spread out the loading?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
