I have an R54 SmartCenter running on a Solaris 9 box. I am attempting to
use upgrade_export to export the configuration, so that I can move it to
a new server. upgrade_export bombs after about a minute. I am using the
latest R54 upgrade_export from the Checkpoint site.

output from upgrade_export -d:

You are required to close all Check Point clients before the Export
operation begins.
If the export fails, stop Check Point services and run the
upgrade_export command again.
Press ENTER when ready..

Yes, SmartCenter is shut down when I run upgrade_export. Invoking
cpprod_util by itself produces the following error:

[mbfw1mgt]-/root# cpprod_util CPPROD_GetValue Products uag 1
Failed to find the value

Not sure what's up with that, or what it should return. Also don't
understand what the Compare2Dirs problem is. The directory referenced in
the error string _does_ exist:

[mbfw1mgt]-/root# ls -ald
/opt/CPfw1-54/tmp/upgrade_temp_dir/fw1/conf/db_versions/repository/231
drwx------ 2 root other 512 Dec 10 10:53
/opt/CPfw1-54/tmp/upgrade_temp_dir/fw1/conf/db_versions/repository/231

And it contains:

[mbfw1mgt]-/root# ls -al
/opt/CPfw1-54/tmp/upgrade_temp_dir/fw1/conf/db_versions/repository/231
total 1386
drwx------ 2 root other 512 Dec 10 10:53 .
drwx------ 267 root other 3584 Dec 10 10:53 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root other 688727 Dec 10 10:53

Anyone have any insight?
