I have an NG AI (R54) running on Windows 2000 (Enforcement/Management.)
I am managing it through a VPN connection to my corporate firewall.
Basically everything works fine I am able to access the
firewall/management server make rule changes, view the tracker, actually
everything works until I push policy. When I push the policy I loose
connection to the firewall. I get the following error in the event log
when I reconnect:
Rule: 0 - Implied Rule
Information: message_info: Implied Rule
Encryption failure: Encrypted connection changed to
clear text after policy installation.
Not sure what is causing this, I do not lose the VPN connection just my
connection to the Smart Center. Then when I try to log back in it tells
me that I am already logged in and asks if I would like to login in read
only mode. This is quite a pain as each time I push policy I lose
connection. This does not effect any established connection over the
VPN either just the GUI clients.
