It's not so easy, as on windows, you have some stuff in the registry. Could you try to restore the windows partition on another machine And run the upgrade utility ??

The problem is that I do not have the machine, just a backup of the Win2k partition. I can read it with my linux laptop, but I can't run any program on it. I tried to copy the partition to a new PC, but this is Windows. Just copying doesn't work, windows doesn't run. So I have the NG tree, and need to know which Files to copy or modify. regards Hadmut ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
