Hi ,
Have you configured CVP based mail filtering in firewall ?.
What is your Rule for SMTP ?
Are you using Reverse DNS lookups in your Mail server ?
Are you using Identd lookups in your Mail Server ?
Have you Analyzed the Firewalls logs , as you send some mails from internet
?.

Dear frds...
Need ur favor...I have a prob ...
I have prob with the communication of pair of mail
server...
Hardware/Software :
ASF 5109 2.2.1.0a Image(FP3) firewall module...
Mgmt server : Windows 2000 SP4 FP3 mgmt server...
Issue is that I have Mumbai Mail server(I planet on
SUn) behind the firewall..And i have the Iplnaet on
Sun mail server at other location outside teh
firewall..
SMTP mails are reaching late by 2 hours to the mail
server outside the firewall ...however other mail
servers outside the firewall is not facing this
prob..these servers are also running on ipmanet on sun
...
I F I BYPASS THE FIREWALL MAILS ARE REACHING IN NO
TIME TO THE VICTIM MAIL SERVER OUTSIDE THE
FIREWALL(wHERE MAILS WERE REACHING LATE WHEN FIREWALL
WAS IN PLACE )
mUMBAI mAIL SERVER-->fiREWALL-->iNTERNET-->vICTIM MAIL
SERVER(aND OTHER LOCATION MAIL SERVER)
can some one guyide me how to go about troubleshooting
this issue?
