Hi, 1) Question is about SmartDashboard (Chkpnt NG AI R54):
Can anybody tell me whats different if i make a HOST or a Gateway Object from these 2 different Object Categories in SMARTDashboard : CHECKPOINT>NEW CHECKPOINT > HOST/GATEWAY and NODES>NEW NODES> HOST/GATEWAY Earlier in NG there used to be a concept of internal and external hosts - which meant whether the host/gateway was managed by this Mngt module or it was managed by some other Mngt Module. I dont think that concept still exists in NG AI - bcoz the option to specify doesnt exists ne more. Any Ideas on this also for Chkpnt NG AI? 2) Install On Element in the rule base specifies the network object that is to enforce a specific rule. How is it different from the enforcement module specified at the time of installation of policy ? 3) is there any quick formula to remember when to use user/session/client authentication and also for static/hide NAT ? I am preparing for CCSA (156-210.4) NG with AI.
