I have ran into a strange error regarding a SecuRemote install. After the
installation of R54(R54_540000132) the system can no longer browse the
internet, pull a dhcp address, etc. I can set a static IP on it and then
it can ping everything in the local subnet but nothing else. It won't open
any webpages including webservers in the same subnet. I tried uninstalling
SecuRemote but after rebooting, the system did the same thing. The only
way I could fix this was by deleting the Winsock/Winsock2 registry entries
and rebuilding the TCP/IP stack. After rebooting, the system works fine.
If I reinstall SecuRemote (any version) the same symptoms happen. I have
watched the install process using Install Monitor software, but after
reboot, it cannot connect to the Install Monitor "Server" even though it
is on the local host. I have tried both R54 and the latest R55 with same
results. This has happened on 3 systems now. Two of the systems are
running Windows XP and the third was a clean install of Windows 2000
Professional. Any ideas? Thanks in advance,

Jerry
