A lot of times this issue is caused by packet fragmentation. Find a utility
in C:\Program Files\CheckPoint\SecuRemote\bin named MTUAdjust.exe and run
it. Check all the boxes except dial-up and drop the MTU to 1300 and reboot
and try it.

Note that this little utility always says the MTU is 1500 even after you've
changed it so it's not a reliable indication of what it currently is. If
your firewll is at NG AI, then this isn't necessary as AI can set the MTU
dynamically.

Hello FW Guru,

I have this problem and it really bugging me. Hope someone out there can
shed some light to this problem.

I have a cable modem. If I attach my PC direct to the cable modem, the
SecureRemote works no problem.

If I have my PC running behind a FW, allow everything, and NATed the
private IP to the Public IP, I can authenticate but I could not connect
to my company's servers.

My-PC ===> FW do the NATing ===> Internet

What am I doing wrong? Or can it be done like this.

Thanks in advance,

PB
