I am running a P3 933, but I have 1.5Gb of ram. I use SCSI UW320 in a Raid5 array and this is a Compaq Server.
It runs just fine. As previously stated, what are you doing with the server? What is the load in Mb? What type of traffic is this? How much VPN load on the server? How many rules/NICs? Are you doing a lot of security server checks? Do you have logging turned on for each rule?
