If you're not aware of it, you can put the management station on R55 and have it manage R54 enforcement modules without any problems..

We are planning some further work with our configuration in a couple of months, and will likely be upgrading to R55 at that time, however in the meantime, I would like to move our management console from it's temporary workstation to it's permanent server system. If I could put this on Windows 2003 at this time, it would simplify the upgrade work when this happens.
