Hi,
the Account Management Client has been used in 4.x to configure and
authenticate users by a LDAP-Server. In NG you don't need it any more.
For using LDAP you need a license for SmartDirectory (integrated in
*Pro). If you use 4.x, you'll find some information in the PDFs on the CD.
User defined tracking is the configuration with own alerts. Any script
or program which can be executed at the CLI of your SmartCenter can be
used as alarm. So, if you write an alert in C, you will need to compile it.
