It counts the number of people in the user group authorized to logon to the
policy server.

Subject: [FW-1] Counting number of Secure Client licenses used
Date: Fri, 27 Feb 2004 08:33:46 -0800

We have 300 Secure Client licenses and more than 200 Secure Client users
created (we're getting close to 300 users). Is there a way to tell how
many Secure Client licenses are used up vs. the number allowed? In
Smartview Status, the Policy Server for the gateway shows 300 licensed
users, but will not tell me how many are currently created. There is a
area for number of connected users, but I need to know how many are created
(short of scrolling through the list and manually counting) I'm rather new
to NG, but I know that in 4.1 as soon as you created your 301st user (with
a 300 user license) you found out pretty quick because it broke ALL of the
VPN users.

We are currently running NG AI (R54) with W2K on the Management Console and
Nokia IP530s for the gateway.

Thanks for any help on this.
