actually the VPN-1 Edge boxes do the same, if you go with the X16 or higher (the X8 is very limited). They have more features than [EMAIL PROTECTED], offer the same easy HTML management and as an added bonus, they also support SMART management like the "big" FW-1. The Edges are more like the old SmallOffice licenses I believe... Oh and btw: The Edge Boxes are also developed by Sofaware. I guess it's a question of what you want. As far as I know, the Safe@ Boxes are more like the offerings from competitors like SonicWall or WatchGuard. The feature set is decent, but management is not very flexible and "fixed". Try doing some complicated rulesets through a browser... for small locations with a basic setup, where all you need is something like "allow outgoing web, ftp, mail and vpn, block all incoming", the Safe@ might just be perfect. If you want something more like a real FW-1 go for the Edge Boxes. They don't cost much more than the safe@ boxes and from a management point of few, they look exactly like the FW-1 that you are already used to. My 2 cents :) Sascha |> Licensing is a breeze (that's nice for a change!), and the support at |> sofaware is decent if they're on line in the chat program |> that they use |> for tech support.
